EMR Server Infrastructure Patch Application and Component Updates

Starting on Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 9:00 pm, and continuing over several days, the Jeff-IT EMR Administration Team will begin a series of maintenance tasks on EMR servers. The changes are necessary for increased reliability and performance. The tasks will be staggered on redundant systems, therefore no client impact is expected. The schedule will be as follows:

  • EMRWEB002 W2k3-SP2/KB patches Wed, November 4, 9pm – 11pm
  • EMRWEB003 W2k3-SP2/KB patches Thu, November 5, 9pm – 11pm
  • EMRWEB001 & EMRDELIVERY W2k3-SP2/KB patches and server reboots Fri, November 6, 9pm – 11pm
  • EMRWEB002 .NET install / set mem usage to system cache Sat, November 7, 2pm – 4pm
  • EMRDB001 & EMRDB002 .NET install/SQS05-SP3 install Sun, November 8, 2pm – 4pm
  • EMRWEB002 .NET install / set mem usage to System cache & EMRINT001 set mem usage to System cache Mon, November 9, 9pm – 11pm
  • EMRWEB003 .NET install / set mem usage to System cache & EMRINT002 set mem usage to System cache Tue, November 10, 9pm – 11pm
