==================== JeffNEWS, April 1995 ==================== Computers in Healthcare Education Symposium Offering Jeffersonians Reduced Rate And CME Credit ---------------------------------------------------- Thomas Jefferson University, in conjunction with the Health Sciences Libraries Consortium, will host the 10th annual computers in healthcare education symposium, April 26 to 28. The theme, "Managing the Information Mosaic," promises to be an exciting one, highlighting the ways medical and allied health educators can use the Internet to share information and resources. The Office of Academic Computing, which helps plan the conference, announces two new benefits for Jeffersonians who attend: a special price and CME credit. Jefferson faculty and staff may register for the conference for just $50, a savings of almost 70 percent. Additionally, to make registration easier, you may submit the registration fee via interdepartmental charge. For the first time, CME credit is also available to attendees. Attendees can earn 14.5 credit hours in Category 1 of the Physicians' Recognition Award of the AMA. For more information on the symposium, please call the Office of Academic Computing at 4965. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Information provided by: Editor, JeffNEWS (215) 955-6204 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
