Blood Bank and Clinical Laboratories Celebrate Laboratory Week, April 16 to 22
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From Sunday, April 16, through Saturday, April 22, our blood bank and clinical 
laboratories will celebrate National Laboratory Week, whose theme is "The Lab 
Professional: A Key Member of Your healthcare Team."

Among many and varied activities, the blood bank will exhibit facts about 
bloodbanking, as well as a poster and yearbook featuring key members of the 
bloodbank team, in the front section of the lab; and on Wednesday, April 19,
Janet Brunner, PA-C, senior coordinator of the bone marrow transplant program,
will present an overview of bone marrow transplantation with special emphasis
on the blood bank's role. 

Clinical laboratories' observance will include games, displays and other
activities.
