Your ideas have helped generate revenue and reduce costs significantly, to the tune of more than $2.5 million in savings. And we're not finished yet. June 13 kicks off Phase II of "Teaming Up to Make a Difference." Existing teams have another opportunity to contribute ideas and reap rewards. In Phase II, which focuses on qualitative ideas and runs through July 5, we're looking for ways to enhance satisfaction for patients, visitors, physicians, students, employees and payers; improve workplace safety; expand our educational services; and increase employee effectiveness and efficiency. "Team members have done an extraordinary job so far in making a difference in how Jefferson operates," says Frank J. Milewski, associate vice president for management systems, "and I'm confident the second half of the program will likewise result in great ideas." o Number of ideas submitted through May 30, 1994: 2,010 o Total savings/revenue: $2,533,785 o Number of ideas under review by Evaluation Committees: 612 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Information provided by: Editor, JeffNEWS (215) 955-6204 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
