Thank You for Teaming Up

As our top teams enjoy the beaches of Hawaii, the result of their cost-
saving efforts, it's the perfect time for Thomas J. Lewis, senior vice 
president for healthcare administration and chief executive officer, and 
Robert A. Peterson, senior vice president for administration and finance 
and chief financial officer, to extend a big thank you to all who 
participated in the Employee Suggestion Program. Employees who didn't win 
the travel award did reap benefits in other ways. Some had the opportunity 
to work with people in other departments for the first time. Some saw 
coworkers in a whole new light, as previously hidden creativity and 
leadership skills emerged. Still others earned hundreds of dollars in award 
credits. All in all, every employee who pulled together to help make 
Jefferson a better organization should consider themselves a winner.

Employees have until February 1, 1995 to redeem award credits for the 
gifts of their choice. As an option, employees may donate their award 
credits to assist Jefferson's community outreach efforts, which will help 
make the upcoming holidays merrier for a local family in need. Interested 
employees should send their award credits to Maggie Hunter, department of 
social work, 1015 Chestnut Street, 2nd floor or call her at 7177.
