Faculty Club Accommodates Busy People, Hires New Chef

The Jefferson Faculty Club, located on the mezzanine level of Jefferson 
Alumni Hall, has made some changes to accommodate the increasingly busy 
schedules of its members, according to newly elected president, Diane 
Peters, RN, MSN, assistant nursing director for the medical and psychiatry 
care programs.

To speed your service, you can order from among the special entre'es at 
the same time you make your reservation. In fact, service has been upgraded 
to the point where you can lunch in just 30 minutes. If time is a 
consideration for you, let your server know this when you arrive or when 
you make your reservation.

Membership, which is $50 annually, is limited to the faculty of 
Jefferson's three colleges, University administrative staff with faculty 
benefits, and hospital employees who have joint appointments in the 
colleges.

In addition, the following memberships are also available: 
honorary - for those who have rendered distinguished service to Jefferson; 
auxiliary - for spouses of members, and emeritus - for retired faculty. For 
details, call 7697.

The club offers members lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Reservations are always recommended so the staff can prepare tables of 
suitable size for guests.

The club has hired a new chef, Michael Finch, who comes to Jefferson 
after experience in several outstanding local establishments. While Mr. 
Finch makes sure some favorite items are always on the menu, you'll also 
find different specials every day. In addition, the menu has several Dining 
With Heart items, which are lower in fat, sodium and cholesterol. Jefferson 
dietitians collaborate with area chefs on recipes for these dishes and 
ensure continuing adherence to the Dining With Heart guidelines.

If you're a member who hasn't had lunch at the club in a while, please 
plan to come and enjoy the changes that have been made. To make a
