Code of Conduct
Both Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson University Hospital are
committed to providing state-of-the-art care to our patients and community,
and to do so in an ethical and legal manner. To demonstrate our commitment
to excellence and integrity, we have developed a Code of Conduct, which
is shared with all employees at the time they are hired. The Code emphasizes
our values of ethical behavior and fair practices.
All employees are expected to read and understand the Code. However,
the Code cannot address all situations. Questions about organizational
practices or actions of individuals that raise concern should be directed
to your supervisor or to the Compliance Officer. The University and the
Hospital have a non-retaliation policy, so any concern brought to the
attention of management or the Compliance Office will be handled confidentially
and without repercussion to the employee.
Questions about the Code or the Compliance Program in general should
be directed to the appropriate Compliance Officer: University Compliance
Officer at 215-503-0762 and Hospital Compliance Officer at 215-955-4177
or via ComplyLine (1-888-5COMPLY).
