Learn to 'Tame Technostress'
The Health Awareness Program is co-sponsoring with Digital Eve Philly a "Taming Technostress" workshop Saturday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Health Awareness Program, Suite 100, 1015 Chestnut Street.

The program is open to employees at a discount.

Digital Eve Philly is a new professional organization created especially for women in technology.

"Technostress" occurs when individuals rely heavily on technology in their day-to-day lives, causing a negative effect on their physical and mental wellbeing, the workshop organizers say.

Presenters from the Health Awareness Program will teach individuals how to "tame technostress" through a hands-on workshop that includes a lecture, a "power walk" through historic Philadelphia, yoga, self-massage and stress management.
