Rittenhouse Row Fashions Presented for Hospital Women's Board

See Fashions of Rittenhouse Row, standout fashions for spring and summer 1996 presented by Rittenhouse Row, a group of Philadelphia's smartest shops.

The fashions will be presented at a luncheon sponsored by the Maternity and Children's department of the hospital Women's Board on Thursday, April 25, at the Merion Cricket Club, Montgomery Avenue and Grays Lane, Haverford, starting at 11:30 a.m. with cocktails a la carte.

Rittenhouse Row shops participating in the Fashions of Rittenhouse Row are: Asta De Blue, Banana Republic, Jacques Ferber Furriers, Jaeger International, Jones New York, Knit Wit/Plage Tahiti, Lagos ­p; The Store, Mendelsohn, Rodier Paris, Sophy Curson, Toby Lerner and Touches.

After the show, guests are invited to look through the fashion collection. They will also receive lovely favors and have the chance to participate in a raffle of various items from some of the shops.

Rittenhouse Row is an outstanding array of boutiques, chic restaurants, internationally acclaimed art galleries, European-style spas and salons and cultural institutions united to promote, market and advertise the elegance and style of the area beginning from the Avenue of the Arts, past historic Rittenhouse Square to quaint 20th Street.

Fashions of Rittenhouse Row co-chairs are Mrs. Walter Aikman (Charlene), and Mrs. D. Jeffrey Hallowell (Catalina). Honorary chair is Women's Board president, Mrs. Wallace G. McCune (Fay), and chairman of the Maternity and Children's department is Mrs. John J. Shaw Jr., (Edna).
