Count on Volunteer Services to Help You Vote
Jefferson patients, who are registered voters residing in Philadelphia,
Montgomery, Delaware or Chester counties in Pennsylvania and in Gloucester,
Camden or Burlington counties in New Jersey, may obtain absentee ballot
applications for this year's Presidential election from Volunteer Services,
says Patricia A. Wallace, MBA, Manager of Volunteer Services and Patient
Information. Please encourage patients expecting to be hospitalized or recovering
at home on November 5 to obtain an absentee ballot application.
Volunteers will deliver applications to patients and assist in their completion.
Applications should be completed and mailed by 5 p.m. on October 28 for
the ballot to be mailed to the patient and to be returned in time to be
counted in the vote. Completed ballots must be returned by mail no later
than 5 p.m. on November 1. For more information, call Volunteer Services
at 5-6222.
