Pennsylvania Oncologic Society and Pennsylvania Society of Hematology and Oncology Conduct Their First Joint Scientific Meeting


Register now for the First Scientific Meeting jointly conducted by the Pennsylvania Oncologic Society and the Pennsylvania Society of Hematology and Oncology (POS&PSHO). The meeting will be held from Thursday, September 19 through Saturday, September 21 at the Wyndham Franklin Plaza Hotel, 17th and Race streets, Philadelphia. This educational program is designated for 10.5 credit hours.

Jeffersonians on the program faculty include:
Robert Comis, MD, the Ludwig A. Kind Professor of Medicine, director of the division of neoplastic disease and professor of microbiology and immunolgy; Leonard G. Gomella, MD, the Bernard W. Godwin Jr. Associate Professor of Urology; Lydia Komarnicky, MD, assistant professor of radiation oncology and Gordon F. Schwartz, MD, MBA, professor of surgery.

Participating on the program committee for the meeting is Jeffersonian John A. Carlson Jr., MD, associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology and director of the Division of Gynecological Oncology, and past president of the Pennsylvania Oncology Society.
