Daily $4 Passes Now Available for Employee Remote Parking

Employees may now purchase daily passes to use the new remote parking and shuttle service, the Commuter Services Office (CSO) has announced.

A daily pass costs $4 for Jefferson-paid employees and must be purchased at the CSO office in advance. You will not be allowed to enter the remote lot without one of these daily passes, which are available in limited numbers.

In addition, CSO has added one hour to the shuttle schedule. Shuttles now run Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., to these three pick-up and drop-off points on campus: 10th and Sansom Sts.; 10th and Locust Sts.; and 9th and Sansom Sts.

The remote parking lot is located on Columbus Blvd. (Delaware Ave.), across the street from Dave and Buster’s, (between Callowhill and Vine Sts.)

The monthly cost to employees remains $75 per month (averaging about $3.50 per day) by payroll deduction. Sign up by the end of January 2000, and you’ll receive your first month of remote parking at half price, $37.50.
