Enjoy a sizzling afternoon of Duke Ellingtons hits and support the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Sickle Cell Program.
Join your friends and colleagues for the Sunday, June 27, 3 p.m., performance of Essentially Ellington: A Tribute to the Duke at the new Prince Music Theater located at 1412 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. One of Jeffersons Anniversary Year Celebration events, the show will feature classics such as Satin Doll, It Dont Mean a Thing If It Aint Got That Swing, and Sophisticated Lady performed by six vocalists and a five-piece combo.
Tickets are $36 and $50 per person, with proceeds benefiting the Sickle Cell Program. The $50 tickets include admission to a special post-performance reception with the cast.
