Swing Into the Duke Ellington Mood – Exclusive Offer to the Jefferson Community Benefits the Hospital’s Sickle Cell Program

Enjoy a sizzling afternoon of Duke Ellington’s hits and support the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Sickle Cell Program.

Join your friends and colleagues for the Sunday, June 27, 3 p.m., performance of Essentially Ellington: A Tribute to the Duke at the new Prince Music Theater located at 1412 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. One of Jefferson’s Anniversary Year Celebration events, the show will feature classics such as “Satin Doll,” “It Don’t Mean a Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing,” and “Sophisticated Lady” performed by six vocalists and a five-piece combo.

Tickets are $36 and $50 per person, with proceeds benefiting the Sickle Cell Program. The $50 tickets include admission to a special post-performance reception with the cast.
