Carmen Sultana, MD, Assistant Professor, Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, was among the 19 graduates who were first to complete the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO)/Solvay Pharmaceuticals Educational Scholars Development Program. The graduates were honored at the annual APGO/Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology in San Diego. The program focuses on helping Obstetrics and Gynecology professors teach womens health more effectively. Program participants were selected from applicants nationwide who have demonstrated a commitment to womens health.
