Roger J. Pomerantz, MD, FACP, Professor of Medicine, Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, and Director, Center for Human Virology, Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University and Director, Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, recently was published in The New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Pomerantz wrote an editorial entitled "Residual HIV-1 Disease in the Era of Highly Active Antiretrovial Therapy" which appeared in the May 27, 1999 issue.
