Health Insurance Information
Health insurance is required for all medical students at Jefferson Medical College, and is offered through United Healthcare. All students must complete the online health insurance form, regardless of whether you are enrolling in or waiving the plan. If you are currently covered under an existing plan, you may request to waive the insurance.
Whether you elect the United Healthcare insurance or would like to request a waiver, every student MUST complete the online enrollment/waive process. The plan brochure and the online enrollment/waive are available in July at First Student. ( The First Student Web site will not be available until July 1, 2011. Please come back at that time .) Dental Insurance
Optional dental insurance is available through Delta Dental. Plan details and the enrolment form are available below.
