Alumni Host Program
A call to volunteer from Edward H. McGehee, M.D. '45, Chairman of the
Student Affairs Committee
Do you remember your senior year in medical school, traveling
around the country interviewing for residencies? Those of us who work with the
medical students are reminded of that time, with all its uncertainty and
expenses. That is why we are happy to offer hospitality to the seniors through
the Alumni Host Program. Through this program, Jefferson alumni and postgraduate
alumni provide whatever accommodations they can to a student interviewing for
residencies in their cities, usually for just one night, but sometimes for two.
The Host Program helps to keep our special Jefferson connection alive. Most of the interviews occur between
November and January. Please consider volunteering.
If you have any questions, call (215) 955-7750. To volunteer, please fill out the form below. You may also email
