Jefferson Cardiac Care Database
In collaboration with the JMC Department of Medicine, Center staff are
building a Jefferson cardiac care database that links information from
existing administrative data (e.g., hospital discharge abstract data
and physician billing data) and clinical information (e.g., laboratory
results). These data will be used to assess variations in practice patterns,
use of clinical practice guidelines such as those developed for Project
CARE, as well as supporting faculty and house staff research projects.
Initial analyses will focus on patients admitted to TJUH for congestive
heart failure. |
