Program Evaluation: Preclinical Course Evaluations
For further information contact Kaye.Maxwell@jefferson.edu
Procedures developed for evaluating the content and presentation of
lectures in the Foundations of Clinical Medicine course in 2002 have
expanded to include all second-year and some first-year courses. Each
evaluation is a custom instrument evaluating both general and specific
aspects of each unit and identifying strengths and weaknesses. Because
students return the evaluation booklets at their examination sessions,
response rates have improved significantly over previous years. Response
formats include Likert scale ratings, custom options and write-in responses.
Reports to faculty are available in hard copy and PDF format for web
posting. |
