Our previous studies demonstrate that DACH1 is a potential tumor suppressor by inhibiting human breast cancer cellular proliferation, invasion and metastasis. Recent studies suggested that DACH1 block breast cancer stem cell propagation and induce stem cell differentiation. We will further analyze the molecular mechanism underlie this new function of DACH1 in other human cancers.
