To ensure that patients have access to the widest variety of treatment options, Jefferson physicians are actively involved in cancer research on many fronts; at any given time, about 100 oncology clinical trials are being conducted here.
The Clinical Research Management Office (CRMO) is the arm of the Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson that manages and supports this important work. The CRMO ensures that trials comply with all federal, state and institutional regulations. Most importantly, the CRMO ensures the safety of our patients.
