A major portion of patient care by clinical faculty in the Division of Hematology encompasses programmatic centers of excellence, including Hemophilia, Clinical Laboratory Hematology, Adult and Pediatric/Adolescent Sickle Cell Disease and other hemoglobinopathies, and Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine. Division faculty from the Hematology section also provide consultative support in the hospital for patients with Hematologic disorders, with a particular focus on bleeding, thrombosis and red cell disorders. All out-patient Hematologic services have been consolidated in 1015 Chestnut, Suite 1020.
