Research and Clinical Interests
My interest in vaccine technology is focused on the use of the rabies virus as a delivery vector for a wide range of immunogens. This technology, discovered by faculty of the JVC, is currently being developed by our company in cooperation with these scientists. Immediate focus is directed towards development of biodefense related targets such as anthrax and botulinum vaccines. I believe the rabies virus based vaccine vectors are an ideal expression vector for these antigens and has significant potential to deliver more potent and long-lasting vaccine products.
