Dr. Kunkel is the Program Director for the fellowship. She graduated Medical School from McGill University in 1983 and completed her psychiatry residency at New York University Medical Center 1983-1987. She completed her fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (1987-89). The bulk of Dr. Kunkel’s early career was devoted to research and clinical consultation-liaison psychiatry. She was appointed the Division Director for Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry in 1995, and in 2002, she was appointed Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior.

Dr. Becker is the Assistant Program Director for the fellowship and is board certified in psychosomatic medicine. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 2002 and completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. Her interests are in Women's Mental Health, Hematological issues in Psychosomatic Medicine, Education and General Consults.
