Directors
Dr. Becker is the Program Director for the fellowship. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 2002. Dr. Becker also has a Master's Degree from New York University in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Clinical Health Psychology from Yeshiva University. She is the Associate Director of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Jefferson University Hospital. She is board certified in Psychosomatic Medicine. Her interests are in Women's Mental Health, Hematological issues in Psychosomatic Medicine, Medical Student and Resident Education.

Dr. Kunkel is the Program Director Emeritus for the fellowship. She graduated Medical School from McGill University in 1983 and completed her psychiatry residency at New York University Medical Center 1983-1987. She completed her fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (1987-89). The bulk of Dr. Kunkel’s early career was devoted to research and clinical consultation-liaison psychiatry. She was appointed the Division Director for Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry in 1995, and in 2002, she was appointed Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior.
