Each of these programs is designed to provide a flexible and individualized learning experience. Visiting fellows have the opportunity to participate in film interpretation, observe procedures and techniques, study teaching file cases, as well as attend regularly scheduled case reviews and interdisciplinary conferences. However, it is the one-on-one interaction with faculty that makes these programs rewarding for both the visiting fellow and the faculty. In each program the basic curriculum can be modified to place emphasis on specific areas in which the visiting fellow has an interest.

Visiting Fellowship – Short Term

Tuition: $1200 per week, $2000 for two weeks, $3000 for four weeks

There is no direct patient contact, but these fellows have access to all teaching opportunities, including clinical read-out sessions, resident and fellow conferences, teaching files and videotape library. The environment is informal, with much opportunity for direct personal interactions during and in between clinical read-out sessions.

There are options for splitting time with other services.

Interested candidates may contact Heera Sekhawat at (215) 955-8185.

Visiting Research Fellowship – One Year or More

In lieu of tuition, research-oriented individuals able to fund themselves for one year or more can assist in ongoing research projects, as well as initiating and leading their own projects. In addition to research involvement, these fellows have access to all teaching opportunities, including clinical read-out sessions, resident and fellow conferences, teaching files and videotape library. There is no direct patient contact. Requirements include fluency in spoken English, and complete financial support. If interested, contact  Heera Sekhawat at (215) 955-8185.
