About the Institute

The Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute is dedicated to advancing research and education activities in the field of diagnostic ultrasound on a national and international level, in keeping with the University's increased emphasis on global involvement. The well established international reputation of the division, its director, Barry B. Goldberg, MD, and his colleagues provides Jefferson with a firm base from which to promote our capabilities in ultrasound research and education, while forging stronger ties with healthcare facilities and organizations around the world that share an interest in diagnostic ultrasound.
