Transportation
Philadelphia is
a major transportation hub for the northeast, with convenient schedules for both
airline and rail transportation.
The Philadelphia International Airport is approximately 20 minutes by taxi
from Center City and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. AMTRAK
trains are a convenient and comfortable way for residents of the northeast corridor
to travel. Unreserved coach and Metroliner service is available to Philadelphia's
30th Street Station. From 30th Street Station to Jefferson is approximately 10
minutes by taxi or a short ride on the SEPTA
train to the Market East stop.
Accommodations:
Reduced rates for course participants are available at conveniently
located hotels
in the vicinity of Thomas Jefferson University. Most are within easy walking
distance, and equally convenient to the historical
district and other attractions in Center City Philadelphia. Information
about area hotel accommodations is provided upon receipt of course registration.

through the University Housing Office. Due to the limited availability of on-campus
housing, contact us to register as far in advance as possible if you anticipate
studying at Jefferson for an extended period.
Directions, Parking, and Campus Map:
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is located in near the
heart of Center City Philadelphia. Garages for all-day parking are located on
the perimeter of the campus. Directions to the campus, parking information and

Directions. The Institute is located on the seventh floor of the
Main Building (adjacent to the Thompson Building) in Suite 780 on the corner
of 10th and Sansom Streets. If you want to request a map or directions
