If you are a resident of

United Kingdom,
Luxembourg,
Netherlands, or
Thailand, and plan to stay in the U.S. for more than 2 years (from the date you entered the U.S.), do not claim the treaty exemption when filing the 1040NR. Otherwise, you will have to repay the entire exempted amount for the 2 years, plus possible penalties.
