What is Technology Transfer?
|
The
Technology Transfer Program was created at Thomas Jefferson University
to capture the opportunities in basic and clinical research and
to develop them into marketable products in a timely manner.
The program proactively seeks to foster the development of medical
technologies through licensing and cooperative research efforts
with industry. Technologies are patented to provide an incentive
for industry investment in further development. Companies with
the appropriate resources and interest are sought for commercializng
these technologies. Companies are invited to contact Jefferson
to discuss their interests. Where appropriate, the creation of
new companies based on University technology is also encouraged.
