Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is responsible for the biomedical and pharmaceutical science components of the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum. Departmental research focuses on molecular, cellular and clinical approaches for the development of novel drug delivery methods.
Outstanding faculty, who include accomplished scientists, deliver a scientifically-integrated program in three specialty areas: pharmaceutics and drug delivery; medicinal chemistry and molecular analysis; and pharmacology and pharmacogenics. Student opportunities may include working with faculty to develop new applications and use state-of-the-art clinical approaches to establish new knowledge in therapeutic management and prevention of disease.
