  • All courses are offered asynchronously online. Upon completion of coursework, students come to campus for a seven-day symposium to present their capstone projects to faculty and fellow students.
  • The MS-HQS degree requires completion of 39 credits, including a 3-credit capstone project.
  • The capstone project enables students to apply concepts, methods and theories of healthcare quality and safety to problems in actual settings.
  • Classes are offered across three 14-week sessions per year that begin in September and end by mid-July.
  • By taking two courses per term (the maximum number recommended for working adults), students can complete the degree program in six terms or 24 months.
  • Students can begin the program in September or January.
