Course Descriptions

- The MS-HQS degree requires completion of 39 credits, including a 3-credit capstone project.
- The capstone project enables students to apply concepts, methods and theories of healthcare quality and safety to problems in actual settings.
- Classes are offered across three 14-week sessions per year, beginning in September and ending in July.
- Full-time students can complete the program in 16 months. Part-time students can complete the program in 24 months.
- To accommodate working adults, classes are offered after 5 p.m. during the week or on weekends at the Center City campus of Thomas Jefferson University.
- Students can begin the program in September or January.
