Where to Find Research Funding

The Scott Library staff and AISR are contacts for funding searches. There is a lot of useful information on PULSE at JEFFLINE for Researchers (click on the tab for researchers)

You may wish to start with "Orientation: How to Approach the Funding Search" or read the e-book. There is also a PowerPoint Presentation.

Be sure to use contacts with mentors, colleagues at Jefferson and peers in your area of expertise to see what sources of funding are recommended or most frequently used for the type of research you wish to pursue.

For information about seeking industry sponsorship for research, the Office of Human Research, Division of Clinical Trials maintains a sponsor list and investigator information. The Office of Research Administration provides services to assist with clinical trials administration.

After you have decided on a potential source of funding, review the administrative steps to a complete sponsored program proposal.
