Curriculum
At Jefferson, a defined two-year curriculum is in place to ensure that all topics are covered on a regular basis. During the course of your residency training, you will be exposed to topics multiple times and at different levels, thus deepening your understanding and appreciation of the material.

The Association of Program Directors in Surgery (APDS) sponsored textbook, The Physiologic Basis of Surgery, edited by O’Leary, is our recommended basic science text.

The Sabiston Textbook of Surgery, which is available as an on-line resource throughout the university, is our recommended clinical text.
