Course Name Instructor Marathon CPR, ACLS, & PALS. 2 days
Course Description

Day one AM of the course schedule will include general AHA overview, Training Center policy and proceedure, and generalized course information typical of all AHA course offerings. PM course work will involve BLS instructor components. Day two of the schedule will include ACLS and then PALS course specific agendas.

 

Current BLS Instructors who are adding ACLS and PALS to their curriculum: The first day PM portion of this course will account for your BLS HCP renewal requirements.

 

Students wishing to obtain only their BLS Instructor card DoNot Register for this course. Please register for the BLS Instructor course starting the same day. 

 

  In order to qualify for the above Instructor courses you must hold a valid provider certificate and have a letter from a training center or Instructor verifying that your provider skills are exceptional. These programs are fast paced and intense. There will be required reading prior to the start of each class. You will also be given a topic, which you will be responsible to give 10 minutes of instruction to your fellow classmates and the Instructor Trainers, which will account for your grade. Successful completion of this program does not guarantee you an Instructor card. Once you have completed the Instructor class you will have 90 days from the day of completion to be monitored. Failure to do so will require you to take the Instructor class again.

 

All Prices include the costs of books for paid course participants.

Prerequisites
  1. You must hold a current provider cards in CPR, ACLS, and PALS
  2. You must have a letter of recomendation from a current instructor in each dicipline. Failure to hand in your  recomendation letter at the time of registration will result in denial of entry and forfeiture of all funds.
  3. You must show your provider cards to the registration desk prior to class. Failure to show provider cards at the time of registration will result in denial of entry and forfeiture of all funds.

Refund Policy:

IMPORTANT: The entire course(s) MUST be paid in full no later than March 12, 2009. Register online below through paypal. All cancellations received in writing by close of business March 16th, 2009 will be reimbursed at 100%. Cancellations made in writing after March 16th, 2009 will be eligible for a 50% refund up to close of business March 19th.   • Any course participant who shows up more than 15 minutes late to the course and is denied entry will not be issued a refund.
  • Course participants who do ot show up for the course will not be issued a refund
