| Course Description |
The Heartsaver First Aid course is specially designed for the Non-Healthcare Provider who might be the first to respond in the workplace or community, and can be tailored to address the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees. The First Aid Course provides the skills to effectively assess and maintain life from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel. Issues addressed will include poisoning, allergic reactions, physical injury, stroke, and more.
The Heartsaver AED/CPR component of course provides corporations with a complete health and safety training solution. This course is taught according to the standards of the American Heart Association. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a course completion card valid for two years.
Textbook Requirements Textbooks are required for this course and are not included in the course fee.
