Course Name National Registry Paramedic Examination
Course Description

Practical Skills Examinations will also be provided. There are nine practical stations evaluating 12 skills, including cardiology (static and dynamic), airway management (endotracheal intubation and dual-chamber adjunct), trauma assessment, random basic skills, intravenous access, medication administration, oral stations and pediatric airway management and intraosseous infusion. The skills stations are presented in a scenario-type format to approximate the abilities of the candidate to function in the out-of-hospital emergency setting.

None

Prerequisites

Current CPR certification, completion of an NSC Paramedic Program within two years, or current state certification as a paramedic with completion of a 48 hour paramedic refresher course. Current Pennsylvania paramedic students not eligible for open exam. National Registry application for written examination. National Registry application for first attempt at practical examination or a copy of letter from National Registry identifying which practical stations must be tested.

Tuition $150.00
 

This is the site fee for practical examination only. You must have already been approved by the Regional Council to take the practical exam to participate in this examination.
