Going out on a critical pediatric call is one if the most stressful parts of being an EMS provider. Even in a noncritical setting, assessing a pediatric patient presents unique challenges. With only 10% of calls involving children, and only one in 100 dealing with critical pediatric patients, do you have the skills to answer these questions in the first few seconds on-scene:
