Course Name Heart Saver with AED Bryn Mawr Hospital
Course Description

**This course is for PCTs, US, ORAs, and any non-healthcare providers working for the hospital.

The Heartsaver AED Provider program is designed to educate participants on the risk factors of heart disease and stroke. In addition, the participant will learn the indications and treatment procedures for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and airway obstruction. Instruction on use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), rescue breathing on adults, pediatrics and infants is also included. This course is taught according to the standards of the American Heart Association. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certification card valid for two years.
