Application Requirements

Click on the link to the right for application requirements. All required documents, including letters of recommendation, transcripts, and personal statement, must be sent to OTCAS. Please read through these requirements carefully.

The majority of science prerequisite coursework should be completed before an admissions decision can be made. All prerequisites must be completed before matriculation. Students may also earn credits through standardized tests, including CLEP. Admission is competitive, as there are a limited number of seats in each class.

To be considered complete and eligible for review, a OTCAS application must be verified with required letters of recommendation, transcripts, and personal statement, as well as all applicable documents submitted in the directed manner and received by our office by the program deadline date. The Jefferson Supplemental Application will be sent by email after the OTCAS application has been downloaded by our office. Please note that the OTCAS verification process can take 4-6 weeks. It is important to keep this information in mind when determining if you will meet the deadline.

Decisions are granted on a rolling basis throughout the cycle until the class is filled. If applicable, Jefferson will contact academically eligible applicants via e-mail to schedule an interview (provided space is still available).
