The course will be held at the various consortium institutions. The Philadelphia course is modeled after “Course in Scientific Management” developed by the Burroughs Wellcome Fund and Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The objective of the course is to enhance skills that are necessary for a successful academic career.

Course information was presented during the Poster Session at the Annual Meeting of the National Postdoctoral Association, March 30-April 1, 2007.
