Educational Opportunities

We are offering a 6 weeks combined Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) and Community Health Worker (CHW) training program allowing for a dual-certification upon completion.  These advanced skills will allow students to have a competitive edge when entering the workforce.

Medical Assistant: Return to Work Program

Through the Korman Center for Community Engagement and in partnership with CareerLinks and Philadelphia Works, unemployed Certified Medical Assistants will be screened, and successful candidates will be hired by Jefferson as full-time employees.

Interested parties can contact CareerLink to begin the application and screening process.

The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program offers a premium education with experiential learning to train students as highly-skilled medical assistants in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, physicians' offices, and other health organizations.
