Design Professionals

Facilities Design and Construction presently engages for design services with a core group of skilled design professionals who have demonstrated excellent customer service and delivery of design services and with whom (as a result) we have an ongoing professional relationship.  The qualities that are required of design firms providing services at Jefferson are:  A keen focus on customer service; Attention to detail (particularly of existing conditions); Expedient delivery of services and deliverables; Attention to functionality and safety; Care in fitting the work within its existing environment; Efficiency in the use of resources; and reasonable pricing of services.

We welcome the involvement of principals in design and consulting efforts and in maintaining business relationships.

Facilities Design and Construction does not have a pre-qualification process for design professionals.  This is not a solicitation for design services, but firms that presently do little or no work at Jefferson are welcome to express interest in providing services and/or to update Jefferson on work performed or firm capabilities.  If you do so, we ask that you respect that there is a limit to the amount of project work being undertaken and that Jefferson is presently working with excellent firms and many excellent professionals and expects to maintain relationships with those firms that deliver work in accordance with our expectations.

For those design professionals engaged to provide services for Jefferson, those services will be contracted through a modified AIA B-101 -2007 Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect.
