Options for High School Seniors

2-Year Plan a College Education (PACE) Program

Program Length

2 years at a partner college (55 credits)
2 years at Thomas Jefferson University (full-time)

About the Program

High school students who want to assure their admission to our Medical Laboratory Sciences and Biotechnology Program can apply to the Plan a College Education (PACE) Program in their senior year of high school.

PACE students first attend any accredited college or university of their choice for two years to complete their prerequisites and liberal arts education. Each student who maintains an appropriate GPA in this time then transfers into our 2-Year Bachelor of Science Program.

Although PACE students are already admitted to the Program, they must apply to their major of choice the year before entering our Program.

3+2 Entry-Level Master's Partnership Program

Program Length

3 prior years of specific prerequisite coursework (82 credits)
2 academic years (full-time)

About the Program

High school seniors who are committed to earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) in Medical Laboratory Sciences and Biotechnology can apply to one of our partner institutions—Immaculata University or Penn State Abington, Chestnut Hill College, University of the Sciences and Saint Joseph's University—and spend three years there working toward a bachelor’s degree.

As long as all required coursework is completed, students will then transition to Thomas Jefferson University, where they will complete the MS degree in 2 years.
