To implement the mission of Jefferson Human Resources, the Compensation Section through careful and consistent administration of the compensation program, supports the efforts to attract, retain, and motivate qualified personnel to provide high quality care in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Jefferson.
To this end, Jefferson has adopted quantitative methods of pricing and evaluating jobs. Through market analysis and job evaluation, jobs are assigned pay ranges that are designed to be externally competitive.
Within assigned ranges, it is the intent of Jefferson's Compensation Program to encourage employee growth, wherever possible, rewarding an employee for performance and contributions, and to provide for career growth.
The Compensation Program shall be administered in accordance with all applicable Federal and State laws such as the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, minimum wage regulations, and legislation forbidding discrimination.
We meet these responsibilities by:
Conducting compensation studies, reviewing survey data for competitiveness, and recommending appropriate action; insuring direct compensation policies are in compliance with government laws and regulations, and developing a competitive salary administration program to attract and retain highly qualified employees.
