Administration &
Advisory Committees

A Center for Health Decisions Administrative Office works closely with a Patient and Stakeholder Advisory Committee, an External Advisory Committee, and a Steering Committee to develop, implement, and evaluate the Center.  A Patient and Stakeholder Advisory Committee meets regularly with Center leadership and sponsored researchers to ensure the patient-centeredness of research studies. An External Advisory Committee advises Center leadership on sponsored researcher training and mentoring activities; and consults with sponsored researchers on developing and testing decision support interventions, and on dissemination and implementation of effective intervention strategies.  The Steering Committee helps Center leadership establish policies and procedures that support Program implementation and maintenance across the Jefferson system and with collaborating health care systems.
