General Information

Thank you for your interest in the Neurological Surgery Residency Training Program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  Our Training Program currently accepts 3 residents per year.

** Please note that we will be accepting applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) and participating in the the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Please also note that PGY-I training is now a categorical component of neurosurgical residency and will be administered through the neurosurgery department.

The application and supporting documents must be received in this office no later than October 1.

An elective rotation at Jefferson, although not required, would be looked upon favorably during the Faculty's final selection process.

Our interview dates for this year will be as follows:

Saturday, October 15, 2011

Saturday, November 5, 2011

Saturday, January 7, 2012

Saturday, January 21, 2012

A dinner will be held for residents and applicants on the Friday evening before each interview date.
