Research and Clinical Interests

Dr. Borge joined the American Red Cross as a Medical Director in the Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Blood Services Region and later relocated to serve in the Penn Jersey and Northeastern Pennsylvania Regions. He is a Medical Director for the ARC National Reference Laboratory and Blood Group Serology service, the National Molecular Laboratory, and the American Rare Donor Program.  Dr. Borge also serves on several AABB committees including the FDA Liaison Committee, IRL APU and the Circular of Information Task Force
