Innovating EMR, Empowering Physicians, Improving Care

As a leading academic medical center, Jefferson continually pioneers new applications for technology to keep it delivering the highest level of care. Our mission: to create the ideal patient experience not only drives our advancement of medicine, but also our clinical transformation initiative, aptly named empower™. The empower™ initiative is accelerating with more than 2000 physicians, staff and medical students already trained and routinely using the newest version of Allscripts® EMR customized for JUP. In addition, the EMR Team plans to train over 150 incoming faculty, residents and fellows.
