Speakman Elected as Distinguished Practitioner & Fellow
JSN faculty member and JCIPE co-director to join the National Academies of Practice
Elizabeth Speakman, EdD, RN, CDE, ANEF, associate professor at Jefferson School of Nursing and co-director of the Center for Interprofessional Education at Jefferson, has been elected to Distinguished Fellowship in the National Academies of Practice (NAP) and the Nursing Academy as a Distinguished Practitioner & Fellow.
This high honor acknowledges Speakman’s outstanding achievements. NAP Fellows are considered the most accomplished in their field, and fellowship is limited in order to maintain a high standard. Individuals are invited to apply to be fellows, and they endure a rigorous selection process.
Speakman will join the other healthcare leaders and practitioners of NAP who work as an interdisciplinary force to influence national health policy and legislation, and promote quality healthcare through cooperative advocacy, practice, education and research.
Fellowship induction will take place at a black tie Gala Banquet during the NAP Annual Meeting & Forum, on April 5.
