Dr. Jack Ludmir is responsible for developing academic partnerships for the University both locally and globally in Latin America. He oversees physician relations across the Jefferson Health System. Dr. Ludmir is a co-founder of Puentes de Salud and Latina Community Health Services, a not-for profit organization caring for an increasing vulnerable migrant population in South Philadelphia. Dr. Ludmir will be involved in fostering and coordinating partnerships with our surrounding communities and developing a Jefferson Global initiative characterized by both local and global considerations based on understanding the role of diversity and social determinants of health. In addition, the opening of the Jefferson based Latina program offers the opportunity for students and faculty to participate in improving the health of an underserved and uninsured population in conjunction with community promoters of health.
